My Rules Photozine

This is Glen Friedman's photozine, This was the one and only My Rules issue, it came out in 1982 and delivers nice shots of Circle Jerke, Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, Bad Brains and many many others.
According to some rumors on the web,1000 copies were made and some of them ended up on e-bay for 75-120$. On the other hand Maximum Rock n Roll #13 from 1984 says here that 7000 copies were made...

online pdf version here.

Great addition to anyone's collection. Glen could take a picture of paint drying and it would look interesting. Who cares about the pressing info as long as youre one of the lucky ones to won this gem. I think I will go dig mine up from the basement now. Thanks for the post!

According to friedman's website 10.000 were actually printed and 8,000 sold in the first two years, more than any other 'zine at that time. The rest sold over the next 10 years. It's cover price was $2 and and when they finally ran out 10 years later they were going for around $20. I've seen them on E-bay go for over $200 and for as little as $40. A great groundbreaking 'zine.

yea, there will be no re-up,i had some thoughts before posting this, (if it fits here or if we had any trouble) cos is a kind of commercial stuff and not another unknown underground zine. now i see i was right..

so uh, the link from slobadan doesn't work so are you gonna re-up or keep it dead? it's not "too mainstream", not everything has to be so obscure you have to dig 50 feet in the ground to find it.

why someone would go OUT OF THEIR WAY to delete all the uploads for this old barely worthwhile publication is beyond me, but as even that issuu link has now been deleted, PunksIsHippies is washing its hands with it.

sorry. But at least you WILL find this easily on P2P networks.
