Play Hooky! The Russian fanzine
Play Hooky! is the legendary punk-zine from KIROV city, that have been issued by Ed Kireev for about 12 years. All issues are printed on typewriter and maked up in cut-n-glue vein.
Play Hooky! #1 (November, 1995):
Materials about ABC, Kirov underground, Skinhead rule. Interviews: RYBBA (translated as ~ "FISH"), FORGARDUR HELVITIS, D.B.T., GRIFTERS, PESKY DEDA MOROZA (translated as ~ "The SANDS of the SANTA CLAUS").
Play Hooky! #2 (December, 1995):
Materials about CBGB-club, shit poster and another ones. Interviews: PROKAZA (translated as ~ "PRANK" or "LEPROSY" -- in russian these words are homonyms (looking the same, but have different meanings)), GG ALLIN, BUT WHAT ABOUT... ALBANY?, RAMONES, MOULO, NO FLAG, TUPI PARZE.
Play Hooky! #3 (1996):
Materials about GG Allin, Johnny Tanders, short reviews, various thoughts. Interview with TRI U-YO (translated as ~ "THREE U-YO", "U-YO" looks like the beginning of the russian word "uyobok", that means "fucked up" or smth. Also it looks like abbreviature of conventional unit in financial terms).
Play Hooky! #4 (September, 1996):
Interviews: N.P.V.K., Nuaragha (Netherlands),PIVNOY PUTCH (translated as ~ "BEER RIOT"), GANGRENE.
Play Hooky! #5 (1996):
Interview: D.B.T., THE POST, SIS, JACK WITH KILLER, MOULD, BEDLAM.
Play Hooky! #6 (February, 1997) [issued in english]:
Reviews, collection of underground people contacts. Interviews: Nick from P.U.S., Sid from HUXLE XC and Sam from BORN AGAINST.

THE HATERS history (from the THORA-ZINE), music and zine reviews, some '97 event-reports.
