The zine they all want to be. Named after a song by Rytmihäiriö (Perhaps? I am probably mistaken, could be that the band took the name after the zine, can't remember) the name is in any event Finnish and means something I forgot (lol)...

This zine is almost a whos-who of Swedish punk and hard core of the 1990s. Total Discharge and Finland obsession, coped with anti-PC humour that is in some ways still shocking today (actually the extent they go to shock is an obvious sign that nothing is meant by it).
I am sure there's material in the three issues that the dudes managed to puke out for a PhD thesis or two on the subject of punk history. The extent of the influence on Swedish d-beat and beyond can NOT be underestimated (I am sure people older than me will laugh but I am serious). YES I am thinking of Warvictims, before them there were the likes of Dissober, Disfornicate and many many others that simply would NEVER have existed had it been for this zine (along with the Finnrecords label that went hand-in-hand with the zine and of course all the bands and shit from the two Jaris.
Infact all the inside jokes shared with members of each band interviewed makes anyone reading it want to be on their side - I think it's almost like some sort of passive aggressive bullying schoolyard shit going on her - here lays I think the lasting impression of the zine...Me and my friend stole liberally when we did our zine in the first half of the 1990s...but we were perhaps not the most blatant ripoffs, at least we had some own jokes thrown in as well whereas some of the other shitty zines well actually that is probably my ego talking...

Yeah that does look right Zach, I'll translate it as soon as I have a chance. Interesting is that Johnson says that Skitslickers asked him to chose between Anticimex and Skitslickers and he obviously as weveryone knows picked 'Cimex and he says that it ultimately broke Skitslcikers as from there on the band kind of fell apart...

Skitslickers interview Sika Apara issue 3, halfcrap translation from Swedish to English by Slobodan Burgher
1. SKITSLICKERS STORY????
The first line-up was not the same as on the EP and probably did not play as raw as the later. Other members of Skitslickers who were in the band is "Sixten" who also was in Anti Cimex for awhile, nowadays he's in Full Metal Jackets. MArina who actually sang in line-up 1 together with "Skit-Lars" who then played bass and sang, also a drummer who I have forgot the name of, but he was from Kalmar (oh yes, now I remember, he was called "Gutte"). The story was probably as hot-tempered and as fucked up as the music, much drunkenness and chaotic gigs that sometimes had to be stopped because of our brutal procession. We drove the hell out of the audience in the most ways possible. We recorded a second EP that included songs such as Desperate Screams from the Heat, Night of the Holocaust etc the latter was better than the former in my opinion but it does not exist outside of the inner circle of Skitslickers so to speak, too bad for you hey???? When I was at the end forced by the others to make a chose between Anti Cimex and Skitslickers I chose 'Cimex and Skitslickers when into the grave (damn I did I kill them or what?). I am in any event certain that my choice was the right one as Skitslickers would surely have ran out in the sand anyway...
2. WHAT DOES THE MEMBERS DO NOWADAYS???
Hard to say, Jimmy has a Harley Davidson so that's his interest nowadays I guess. "Skit Lars" has a studio and also he owns a HD I think. Bob is the only one of them that you met sometimes for example at Farjenas where he was involved in the squating scene or was it the stealing scene. He is probably in a band called Skandalerna if they are still around.
3. TELL SOMETHING ABOUT SPRANGKULLEN???
It was a really fucking good place that was around for a long period in Goteborg. I think it came to being with punk in the 70's, not too sure but there was anyway punk that I saw there. Big enough and enough rundown for that type of music, nowadays it is a good memory.

I listen to a lot of different variations as far as punk is concerned it is mostly 77, for hardcore I listen only to successors from Discharge ENT, Doom and the like. Mostly I listen to older music liek Canned Heat, Stooges, MC 5, B.T.O., Nazareth (old). Pixies is probably the best band I have heard ever (seriously they are as important as the almighty Discharge, because they have successfully managed to make use of something of all the various types of music that I like).
7. SHELL TO HELL, IS THAT NOT RIGHT???
Last time I was out and drove a long way with a car, all the way up to Samiland actually, we got petrol practically from Shell only, but then I was driving with extremtly right-wing people,hodl on weren't you with, I was drinking Finnish-wine anyway I remember until we got wasted and fuckedup, Shell = nice in other words.
