i was scanning Immigrant zine #3 (to pdf's), and i was worried about my scanner (so many scans at once, no money for new scanner if shit happens..) and suddenly we had a blackout here so all scans were lost :(
bad bad luck, i think i m gong to start partially scan to jpg's so Pope will have work to do...;)
a blackout? damn. that sounds hard core. sorry to hear about lots work! i hate it when it happens...too many times...
you'd be surprised how cheap you can get a scanner nowadays - like on ebay they're almost giving them away...i might look at getting some new shit soon...
anyways i am scanning damagingnoise/seanocide's old news letter as well as issue 1 of traitor and will be posting perhaps already tomorrow...
No problem about the scans, it was my pleasure! If I ever get my ass down to the copy shop again soon, excpect Crust War vols 6, 7, and 8 to be posted too (they're too thick/big to fit on my scanner, so I have to make xeroxes of the pages and scan those). I actually was able to translate the first sentence of the Shitlickers intro that Kawakami wrote with my rudimentary Japanese skills. It says something like "When I think of Discharge, I think of D-beat, when I think of D-beat, I think of Sweden, when I think of Sweden, I think of SHITLICKERS(SKITSLICKERS)". I bet everyone's life is much more complete now, haha.
I can also add that I asked Lasse who was the singer in Shitlickers if he had seen this interview. He answered: "Yes, it does looks as if Jonsson's been at it. Besides, his Japanese is really very good!"
